Project Background
The “Sweet Burden” of Borderland Greening Located on the northern edge of the Tarim Basin in Xinjiang, Shaya County is a critical node in the construction of the national ecological barrier in the northwest. In recent years, with the vigorous development of local desert control, urban greening, and specialty fruit industries, a significant amount of green waste has been generated, including tree felling residues, fruit tree pruning branches, and old tree roots from forest renewal. These materials are bulky, widely dispersed, and inefficient to process using traditional methods, with high transportation costs and inherent fire hazards. How to efficiently and environmentally transform and utilize these “green resources” on-site has become an urgent issue for local forestry and environmental departments.
Solution
Introducing a Mobile Heavy-Duty Crushing Tool In 2023, after in-depth research and multiple comparisons, the relevant units in Shaya County selected our JP7000 Mobile Disc Crusher as the core processing equipment. This decision was based on its targeted and exceptional design:
Core Advantages Meeting Borderland Needs:
Featuring a towable mobile design with six large 1000-20 tires, it can quickly relocate to forests, orchards, green belts, and other material concentration areas, achieving “equipment finding materials” and completely solving the pain point of long-distance transportation for scattered materials.
Powered by a robust 550-horsepower diesel engine, it delivers ample power for wilderness operations. The massive 3600mm diameter feed inlet and 2400mm diameter cutting opening can easily “devour” large tree roots and trunks. With a capacity of 20-40 tons per hour, it meets the demands of large-scale centralized processing.
With overall dimensions of 10m × 2.85m × 3.6m and a sturdy structure, the cutting system—composed of 24 high-hardness cutters and 2 heavy-duty bottom knives—operates at a main shaft speed of 960 rpm, ensuring efficient and uniform crushing of various woody materials (trees, roots, slabs, branches, etc.). The fully hydraulic control system (400L large-capacity oil tank) and remote operation enable human-machine separation and convenient control.
Equipped with a 1m wide × 10m long discharge conveyor and a 4.2m discharge height, it directly loads the crushed high-quality wood chips onto trucks for subsequent transport to biomass power plants, organic fertilizer production workshops, or ecological mulch processing points, forming an efficient closed-loop operation.
Implementation and Results: A “Green Transformation” in the Gobi Desert
Since the JP7000 was put into operation in Shaya County, it has quickly become the core hub for the resource utilization of local forestry waste, delivering significant comprehensive benefits:
The equipment is deployed directly to work sites, with daily processing capacity equivalent to dozens of times that of traditional methods, greatly shortening cleanup cycles and saving substantial external transportation and transfer costs.
The uniformly sized wood chips produced immediately become sought-after raw materials for biomass fuel and ecological restoration, creating new economic value for the local area and achieving a balance between ecological and economic benefits.
Rapid cleanup of accumulated forestry waste effectively improves the environmental hygiene of forest areas and urban-rural fringes, significantly reducing fire safety hazards, and contributing to the construction of beautiful villages and safe forest areas.
The successful operation of this project provides a replicable and scalable model of “mobile crushing + on-site transformation” for handling large-scale, dispersed forestry waste in the arid and semi-arid regions of northwest China, attracting widespread attention and inspection from surrounding areas.
Customer Testimonial
“The arrival of the JP7000 has completely transformed our passive situation when dealing with large volumes of forestry waste. Its mobility and massive processing capacity are like a ‘mechanized assault team’—direct and incredibly efficient. Not only has it solved our long-standing problems, but it has also translated ‘green mountains and clear waters’ into tangible economic value. It is the most successful equipment investment we made in 2023.”
